Winter Steelhead Fishing
The Stamp River is one of the most consistent steelhead producing rivers in BC for both winter and summer run fish. Summer run steelhead peak season runs from October 15th to January 1st and Winter run steelhead peak season runs from December 1st to February 15th.
The Stamp River has a very successful hatchery steelhead program While it is one of the only places in BC where you can still retain a hatchery steelhead, most anglers still prefer to catch and release. We use our jet boat on the river as we find this is the best way to access this incredible world class fishery.
Day Trip
$400 per day for 2 anglers.
Includes top-flight steelhead gear and casting techniques. Pick-up at your accommodation or meeting point, and jet boat trip with 6 to 8 hours of great angling opportunities.
Drift the Gold River on our custom 13' inflatable raft with casting decks. This provides you with a stable casting platform and a great view as you drift down the scenic Gold River, catching and releasing wild steelhead averaging 12 - 14 lbs. Don't be surprised though, if you hook into something bigger! Matt has landed 2 steelhead over 30 lbs.
