"It is a very scenic drive in, take the time and enjoy some of the great views you will pass en route.  Arrive at Fair Harbour, pack your gear into the boat, and relax on the ride to Kyuquot.  Kyuquot Sound is beautiful,  Kyuquot Village is quiet and timeless.  At Matt and Kristy's lodge you feel like your at a friends home.  The reason you come to Kyuquot are the fish, the reason you will come back are the hosts.  The food was fantastic my first trip, it was even better the second time.  Coffee and breakfast are on early, Lunches on the boat are fresh, and plentiful.  Hot hearty soup, chili, fresh bread, greet you after a day on the water.  Local catch like crab, prawns, salmon, halibut, black cod are a typical treat.  Kristy is a great cook, there is lots of variety, you will always leave the table over satisfied.  Matt and Ryan have years of experience in the area, and encourage you to improve your angling skills.  The boats are equipped with top quality gear, and are very comfortable.  The fishing grounds are close, giving you more time with your line in the water.  I've consistently hooked large Springs, Halibut and the largest Coho I've ever seen on the end of my line, fishing with Matt in Kyuquot Sound.  I can't wait to go back!"
