Thank you thank you thank you, thank you so much for a truly memorable trip. Every thing worked, the accommodation was great, having our own rooms makes a big difference. The food was terrific and what a joy to have home made bread every day. The lodge is beautiful, very smart but in a casual way that made us all feel very relaxed comfortable and welcome. For fishermen, the location is a dream. Surrounded by water with a myriad of streams and rivers within striking distance all seemingly full of bright biting Coho. The pristine wilderness that enveloped us each day made us feel very privileged to be involved in such a pioneering piscatorial event. Everybody in our group has said that this trip was by far the best fishing adventure to date. You may have a hard time to beat it next year.

What can one say about the fishing ? It may take a while for the significance of the success of that week to sink in. Not just in terms of the number of hook ups we all had but the discovery for us that Coho could be so aggressive in  the take. The fact that they would chase across the length of the pool to grab your fly just as it was being lifted off the water, but equally would swim toward you  with the fly in their mouths giving no indication that they had a hold of you, It all made for absorbing fishing and a day could pass so quickly.  The size of flies that these lovely fish would take amazed us all and we had great fun tying more and more outrageous patterns before breakfast each morning. Every day was different and we all learned something new at each bend or turn of the stream. One day Colin will learn to walk along the river bank without falling over or falling in, well maybe !!
