Rugged Point lodge is our exciting new fishing lodge, located on the west coast of Vancouver Island in Walter’s cove, Kyuquot. We opened in June 2011, and had a great first year! Our lodge's great room features a large dining area, comfortable sitting room, and bar area, equipped with a flat screen TV (satellite and movies available) telephone and wireless internet. Walk out our french doors and you are surrounded by large ocean view decks, the perfect place to relax after a day of fishing. We can comfortably accommodate groups or individuals up to 12.

Our 6 guest rooms are located on a separate wing from the main lodge, all rooms sleep two guests with either twin beds, or king beds for couples. All of our rooms are spacious, have private bathrooms and decks. We have had nothing but compliments about the comfort of these rooms, with their plush mattresses and sheets.
Kristy and Marie keep busy in the kitchen to keep you satisfied! We bake fresh bread, cookies, muffins, and an assortment of snacks daily. We start the day off with a nice big breakfast, and pack lunches to go, along with hot coffee, so you can enjoy them when you are out fishing. When you return from your day of fishing there is always a nice big pot of hot homeade soup and fresh bread to greet you. Our dinner starts with a fresh seafood appetizer, a nice salad, and a main entree, followed up by a delicious homeade dessert. We will be featuring local seafood from Kyuquot Sound, including fresh prawns, crabs(when available), pacific sable fish, and scallops. We will custom prepare your menu to suit your taste buds, and if you have any dietary concerns or allergies let us know in advance and we will be glad to work around them.
