Getting Here

Beautiful Masons falls on the drive to Fair Harbour

Kyuquot is a small town accessible only by air or water. It is located on the west coast of Vancouver Island, south of Brooks Peninsula and north of Nootka Island.

Most of our guests get to Kyuquot by driving to Fair Harbour, which is about a 3.5 hour drive north west of Campbell River.  If you are coming from afar, fly into either Campbell River or Comox and head North on Hwy 19. If you fly into Vancouver you will have to take the Nanaimo Ferry and head North past Campbell River, travel past Sayward and Woss, then 15km past Woss turn left onto the Zeballos Junction.  From the highway to Fair Harbour is about 72km of gravel road, it winds past Zeballos through some very scenic country where you may encounter black bear, black-tail deer, cougar and roosevelt elk along the way. Fair Harbour is a small parking lot, which has a government dock, fuel dock, and a small convenience store.  We offer reserved parking for our guests.  When you arrive in Fair Harbour, we will be there to greet you. From there we load your luggage into the boat, and head off to the lodge for a quick snack, then an evening of great fishing.  Dinner will be served when you return from your evening of fishing.

We can also arrange a shuttle bus transporting you from Campbell River to Fair Harbour return, for groups of 6 or more.

Another option is to fly directly into Kyuquot.  We can arrange return flights departing from Vancouver, Nanaimo, Comox, Campbell River, Gold River, and Port Hardy.
