Jan 27, 28, and 29th, we are over in Calgary for the 10th annual fly fishing expo, our first trade show of the year! If you are in the area stop in and say Hi! We will be back for the Boat and Sportsman show, along with Edmonton and Vancouver, I will update our show schedule soon!

It is December again!! Winter Steelhead season! We are back in Port Alberni fishing the Stamp River. The lower river already has lots of winter runs, and a few summer runs left. This is the best time of the year for a hatchery chromer!! Contact us if you are interested.

Wow, is it October already? We are now into our fall Fly-fishing season on the local rivers in Kyuquot. Most rivers have no road access and are literally untouched by other anglers, creating a world class fly fishing opportunity for coho. Matt being an experienced river guide for over 20 years cannot believe the fishing, it is some of the best he has ever seen!

Tyson, Matt's cousin, has joined our team of guides for the 2011 season. He took Matt out for an evening fish at Spring Island, our local HotSpot. Not only did they land a nice 27lb Salmon, they also released a few other salmon and halibut! The fish have arrived and we cannot wait for our season to start!

We are getting excited, as the day of our grand opening is getting closer! Pushed back a little bit, due to construction, we are now opening June 15th 2011. Salmon and Halibut fishing has already been very good off of Kyuquot, this summer forecast is looking like we will have some excellent fishing.

We just arrived back from the Calgary Boat Show! Had a great time and met alot of nice people, now we are in Vancouver for the International Boat Show, February 9-13th at the convention center. If you are in the area, come down and say hi!

The Stamp River steelheading has been very good! This nice hatchery steelhead was caught yesterday on an afternoon fishing trip!
